History of Bank One

The predecessor of Bank One opened it's doors in 1863 as the First National Bank. In 1998, it was Acquired by Ohio-based Banc One in a billion deal, becoming the fifth-largest bank in the nation with billion in assets. Then it renamed itself of what is now know as Bank One and relocates to Chicago.

Recently Bank One merged with J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. to create JPMorgan Chase. JPMorgan Chase has over 1.1 trillion and operations in more than 50 countries.

All Bank One Credit Cards are being converted into Chase Credit Cards
